diarrhea in pregnancy

I'm 12 weeks pregnant and have been having constant diarrhea for the past 6 weeks.It is starting to really concern me,What could be the cause of this?This is my 4th pregnancy and I've never had this problem with previous pregancies.

Possibly your prenatal vitamins? They usually cause constipation, but everyone is different.

that was my first thought too...so I tried a different brand,even stopped taking them for a few days,nothing seems too change.I've lost 6 lbs and am feeling a bit dehyrated.I'm trying hard to keep up with my fluid intake but when you're running to bathroom constantly it's hard.

You really have to stay hydrated, that is very important! What does your doctor say? If he doesn't know, you better bring it to his attention.

Try eating fiber bars or something with more fiber in it.  My doctor advised me to take metamucil if I started having that problem.

doesn't fiber cause you to go more frequently?

Fiber helps regulate the digestive tract, so it works for both constipation and diarrhea.

I have the same problem. But I am 32 weeks. I have read that it is a sign of preterm labor and had both of my other babies at 36 weeks. I have had diarrhea for almost 2 weeks now. I told my doctor but he didn't seem to worried. What could it be?
