did my water break

ok sometimes when i cough a little tinkle comes out when i have gone to the bathroon for a while, so i went to the bathroom after that happened. and then a couple minutes later it happened again more than the usual amount and it was a couple times in a row, does this mean my water broke

I assume you are pregnant by the question; how far along are you? Stress incontinence is pretty common in later pregnancy; it might just be urine. On the other hand, sometimes the amniotic sac can leak very slowly. Depending on how far along you are, you might call your doctor or Labor & Delivery to check in and see if they think you should be seen.
