saturday we had another scan. the babies are too active and blocking each other too much for them to get a clear shot of their hearts and see all four chambers. they've tried about 4 times now. today at 1pm i go to my perinatologist for a level 2 and possibly level 3 ultrasound.
there is no anomlaies detected, they just can't get a clear image.
what is the difference between the two and what was your experience with this compared to a normal ultrasound?
Oh good luck hun. As for the level 2 or 3 u/s, they are much more detailed than a regular u/s. I have had regular u/s done followed by a level 2 and it's amazing the difference in what you can see. Don't be anxious, I'm sure everything is perfectly fine, they just want to be 100% sure!
3d's are really cool. You can see facial features and everything. They are in color too. If you want to give me your email I can send you pics of mine. Or you can look at them on my myspace. ***@****. You should be able to find me by that.
hi u can always google out the pictures and they will be there .
otherwise go to ge healthcare web site they sell machine and u can see their images, however 3d imaging is more of a cosmetic rather than real benefit to doctor, given in expert hands a 2 d machine is as good as any 3 d machine.
