do I wait for six months for conceive birth after DNC

Dear Doctor,
I have been married since Sept 2004 now almost 4 years for getting married. My wife never conceived before 28th MAY 2008 she 1st ever conceived birth 28th May 2008 and she miscarriage birth on 23rd Aug 2008, doctor done DNC and dr. said child has no heartbeat since 02-Aug-2008. Now my Doctor tells that don’t try to conceive birth before six months.
Please advice me how was the reason behind the whole case and do I wait for six months for conceive birth.
My name is Adnan and My age is 32 and my wife age is 23.
