do ovlation home kits work well?

i am trying to concieve (conceive) and i want to know if the home ovultion kits work accuratly to let you now when youre ovulating??

I don't know much about ovulation kits but a friend of mine said that if you take your temperature first thing in the morning before you get up (maybe even write down the temp), and when you are ovulating your temp will be a few degrees higher than normal, it worked for her she has 3 kids, good luck!

Hi There!  I used the the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor and it worked perfectly!  We concieved the first month I ovulated on it!  I have also hear alot of success stories from the CBE ovulation test strips as well as charting temps.

I used the cheapest ovulation kit at Wal-Mart and the first time I used it, we conceived!  Good luck!

i used the ones that look like a hpt... (pee stick things)... cant remember which brand, but it was one of the less expensive ones at wegman's (grocery chain in nys) and concieved the first month i used it.  (Last pregnancy not this one)

I found the best buy for ovulation kits are from babyhopes.com.  You can get about 25 ovulation tests and they worked for me the first time I used them.  The ones in the stores tend to be expensive and not give you enough.  This way if you have 25 you can pretty much test twice a day which is what most people recommend anyway.
