does clomid really help??

I am asked to start off with clomid from my next cycle.I m a lil apprehensive if it would really work??I just don'twanna get my hopes high for a disappointment.Has anyone got a BFP in their first round of clomid?????????

Currently pregnant w/ my 2nd child. Both couldn't have been possible w/o clomid. Worked for me. good luck!

i have used clomid for a total of 6 cycles (2 yr ds, 3m/c, currently pg). only 1 time out of 6 cycles on clomid i did not get pg. so i wholeheartedly believe in clomid, if for you.

**ps we bd EVERYday on cd 11-21.

I became pregnant after my second round of clomid; unfortunately, I had a m/c with that pregnancy, but I began the clomid again on my cycle in november and now am approx 5weeks pregnant. keep your hopes up. My doctor had me keeping bbt and keeping track of practically everything I did!!! good luck!!

I got pregnant twice on clomid - both time I took 100 mgs for 2 months then 150 mgs for the last month.  If it wasnt for clomid I couldnt have gotten pregnant becuz I have PCOS and I wasnt ovulating.  I am currently 9 weeks preggo!!  Good luck.

it did'nt work for me i had clomid for 5 months continiously one month dose is left but i have no hope for last dose as it did'nt for 5 months of trying anyway may be it ll work for u

Hi All!  I'm on my second round of clomid.  100mg this month, last month was 50mg.  D5-9.  I had 2 m/c in 2007 and they have norrowed it down to low progesterone levels.  Does anyone else share this issue & are you taking anything else or have you become pregnant?  I'm so desperate for answers & advice!

I am lucky enough to have several friends who have gone through fertility.  Some, clomid was all they needed.  For some they had to go to IVF and have been successful.  And another friend, nothing has been successful, so they adopted a beautiful boy.  We just did our first round of clomid 50 and are on our 2ww.  For us this is secondary infertility as we had no issues having our first four years ago.  I wish you the best!  Don't be afraid to try anything, as there are a slew of combinations that work differently for each person.  Every body is different, much like every pregnancy is different.

FYI - just got our results back from bloodwork and it's a negative for this month.  So we'll see about next month. :)
