my period was on for a whole month and i went to my doctor and he prescribed me provera and i took it for 7 days and the my period was absent for the 7 days so a day or two later my period comes back on but this time it actually feels like my period opposed to before it didnt feel like my period so what does it really do for abnormal periods
Im not sure if this will help you, but I will tell you this. I was given Provera for I think 15 days or 10 days for abnormal heavy period back in April last year. It for me, did not work. I continued to bleed. I went to a new GYN and he gave me Northinedrone (spelling?) which stopped my bleeding completely. I took that for 2 months which for 2 months I had no period then. No bleeding, no cramping no pain for the 2 months. After I stopped taking that, my GYN put me on Yasmin and since then I havent had any problem.
