double strollers

double strollers

I'm looking for a double stroller.  I just purschased a gracco one and I'm not too impressed.  I loved my single gracco stroller but this one just seems like it is flimsy.  Any suggestions???

I love the Phil&Ted, it is like a double decker 3 wheeler and can be used individually too. Not sure it is on sale where you live.

I have a love n care sporty twin (after looking at about every double on the market!), it is fantastic but a bit pricy. My single stroller was a graco quattro which I loved but I agree the double seemed really flimsy. The love n care is actually only one inch wider than the graco quattro and fits through a regular doorway easily yet my nearly three year old still has loads of room and it is so easy and light to push. Even though it is a side by side there is no pull to one side with one child being heavier as some of the cheaper ones do. It comes with boot covers rain cover etc included, only downside (although it doesn't bother me to have to move baby) is that a car seat doesn't fit in well and it is not recomended that you do this, but it does lie completely flat for newborns which is fine. Also it doesn't have cup holders and stuff but they are pretty easy to add later if you want. My second choice (and less expensive option) would have been the zooper tango but I didn't feel that it was quite right for us as as we do alot of walking on uneven terrain.

Best of luck in your search

i have a phil and teds buggy e3 there much to be desired as when you convert it to the 2 toddlar seats the seat at the back has this massive gap/bar there in the way of your little ones legs so i wouldent have purchased this one if i knew about that also the newborn lays underneith from 0-6 months well my dd was 2 big for down there by 4 months old and she used to sweat so bad in there and its not even hot where i am at the moment id have to put her in there with just a singlet i want to sell mine you can buy it if you like lol im in australia and with all the accesories and the extra toddlar seat the pram cost me nearly $1000 there not a cheap option at all goodluck

I plan to buy a double jogging stroller in a couple months.  I was going to get the graco double but since my single graco is so hard to steer and push, I figured a double would be impossible to maneuver, and since I use my stroller for exercise, I definitely think a jogging stroller is the way to go.  I guess it depends on your lifestyle.

When I looked at the Phil and Teds I was also concerned that my eldest would be able to put his hands in the wheels as we walked along, did you find this a problem? Coming from Australia you will have no doubt seen the love n care strollers, what do you think? They are few and far between here in Canada but everyone I know who has one said they are good. I haven't started using mine properly yet (other than a few test runs with my eldest in it) so I'd love to know what you think.
Thanks.
