due date

good morning all .i just had a docs appointment today and she changed my due date to jan 25 not jan 31 so i am 17 weeks and 5 days . but i heard the heart beat and everything looks good but i have to go back in 2 weeks because my bp is high but everything is good .

Ooh I am really interested in hearing due dates and actual dates of baby's arrival, anyone please feel free to to tell me yours, I am planning my maternity and holiday leave, my due date is nov 4 but Iam sure it will be sooner!!

i've had my due date changed a few times too first it was jan28 b/c of lmp and then went to feb 4th by u/s and now is jan 28 again b/c of my last u/s i had a 8 wks i go sept 11 to find out the sex and make sure everything is ok

Looks like lots of January and February babies here! :)  I'm due Valentine's day, which probably means a very late January or early February baby.

With my DD due date was May 5th & I had her on April 26th. This baby started out as Feb 27th now is Feb 22nd so I am hoping for Valentines day!

My son was due on April 20th and I had him, with the help of induction, on April 21st. I was Dilated to a 1 for 4wks before my due dates and 80% efaced, but I didn't budge anymore after that without the help of Pitocin and stripping of the membranes(OUCH!!!!) twice. He was 9lbs, 3oz. My current one is due on January 31st, but depending on my size and the size of the baby, the Dr. may induce me early to reduce the chance of having another 9 pounder.

Your doctor changed your due date this late in your pregnancy?  Most doctors don't change after the first trimester because it isn't very accurate after that point.  Babies tend grow at about the same rate during the first trimester, but after they grow at their own rate.  I just haven't heard of many doctors not following that rule.

Oh, that's so neat!! :)  Don't you love telling people!!  I think it's really fun, even though the chances of actually having our babies on the due date are slim to none.

So are you going to find out the gender of your baby?  If so, when's your Level 2 U/S?  Mine's Sept 18.

I am due Jan 12, but I feel I might have a newyear present hearing to all of you.

Is it normal to have the delv prior to the due date than having it after the due date (I know, it is hardly ON THE DUE ATE :))

I love it! Totally slim to none. The dr first started with due date of 2/17 then changed it to 2/14... who really knows except the lil boo boo bear. I go for an amnio on sep 8th and I will get results of sex 10 days later unless they can see it on u/s. I cant wait :) I will be 17 wks. Is this your first? Have you thought of names yet?
