echogenic focus

has anyone been told their baby has a left ventricle echogenic focus on the ultrasound at 20-22 weeks?  if so did you follow-up with a genetic counsler and/or amnio?

Hi...sorry I don't know anything about this, but since no one has replied yet, I wanted to let you know that I was thinking about you and I hope someone answers your questions and that everything turns out all right for you and your baby.  Good luck!

Anyone have any thoughts?

In the doctor-to-patient pregnancy forum,  I just posted a question about "trisomies".  You might want to look that up as the dr. mentioned echogenic focus.  I think your doctor could give you the best advice regarding genetic counsel or amnio in this matter.  I am not experienced in this area but wish you the best of luck.

Oh and the dr. did mention this can also be seen in normal babies.
