failed tubal

Hello everyone...quick question. I had a Tubal 2 years ago... as of today I'm 5 days late. I'm never late...I have the worse cramps and pain in my shoulder. Could I be pregnant? or is that crazy...

I'm not trying to scare you, but if you're having abdominal cramps as well as pain in your SHOULDER, that is a possible sign of ectopic pregnancy. Not sure how that could happen if you've had a tubal, but hey, anything's possible. I would call your dr asap to have a checkup. Just in case it IS an ectopic pg, you'll want to catch it as soon a you can. Good luck, and let us know!

I agree with the post above, and they say you're at a higher risk for tubals after a tubal ligation. I would definitely get in to see a Dr. Good luck!

Yes, I just had a tubal ligation 9 weeks ago after the delivery of my third child, and have been having some signs of pregnancy myself, so I have done a lot of reading the past few days, and apparently, although chances are slim, one in 100 women apparently can still conceive at some point after a tubal ligation, and 1 in 3 of those pregnancies are ectopic.  Good idea to get checked out as soon as possible.

I'M 45 YEARS OLD AND I HAD A TUBLIGATION ( (LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY) 23 YEARS AGO I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN REGULAR WITH MY PERIOD. BUT I HAVE HAD SOME CONCERNS SINCE SEPTEMBER 08, I GOT MY MENSTRAL CYCLE ON THE 3RD. AND THAN AGAIN ON THE 19TH. IN OCTOBER I GOT IT ON THE 17TH, AND I HAVEN'T GOTTEN IT SINCE UNTIL DEC 5TH, I THOUGHT I GOT MY PERIOD AND I HAVE NOT BLEED LIKE A REGULAR PERIOD BUT EVERYYTIME I USE THE BATHROOM AND I WIPE IT COMES OUT BROWN  I ALSO HAVE BEEN GETTING LOTS OF HEADACHES AND FEELING VERY TIRED AND I ALSO CAN NOT SLEEP AT NIGHT.AND I AM SCARED BECAUSE WHEN I HAD FOUND OUT I WAS PREGNANT FOR MY FIRST CHILD THATS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPEN TO ME.
