falling pregant after a missed misscarriage

Hi everyone, i had a missed miscarriage begin of October 09, i passed the baby with the tablets and i didnt need a D & C. 9weeks later i had my first period which was really heavy. Im wanting to know how long til takes for your cycle to get back to normal? I was due on 3days ago but i dont want to do a test to be let down and it to say negative. and also will i be ovulating 10-14days from the day of my period? Or will it still be all over the place? Shall i do a test now or maybe wait another week and see if i come on?? Thanks guys Vicky x

I think this varies with different women.  If this is the first time your period was due normally since the miscarriage, being three days late doesn't seem too surprising.  Some doctors recommend not ttc again for three months, for this very reason.

i had a period 9weeks after the miscarriage so this is my 2nd period im waiting for. i missed miscarried on the 6oct so it has been 3months although ive only had one period so far.
