feeling ovulation? PLS

Hi all. Is there some body who can help me. I have gone through lots of sites.All says ovulation starts from 14 day of ur first period. then somewhere i read that its not same for all. I m confused.i have 28 days cycle.Can u tell me all the symptoms  of ovulation, so that i can feel it myself without any help.I tried last month first time.we did intercourse in 12 to 18 days. bt no result.do i need to go to dr. , i might have some problem AS I DIDNT CONCEIVE WHILE IN OVULATION.

You should ovulate day 14.  You will get egg white discharge when you start to ovulate so you should BD when you get that.  Also you should try to use a moniter or even do your temp.  Some ppl can feel when they ovulate.  I dont feel it but I heard it can feel like a pin on one side.

If you have a 28 day cycle then yes, you most likely O on CD 14.  Don't panic that you did not get pregnant right away.  DH & I have been trying faithfully since July and we still haven't suceeded.  The average is 6 mos- 1 year.  You should get a copy of the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler.  This should answer any questions you have about how to tell when you O.

Yes, you should O on CD 14. You and DH can be doing everything right, but as greenpixie said, it can take a couple up to 1 year of trying diligently to get PG. It was only your first month but you're BDing on the right days. Good luck and much baby dust******************
