first period post partum

How early did you get your 1st period post partum? I gave birth on 1/18, and have still been having light bleeding every day. It it just enough to half fill a pantiliner 2x a day. On Sunday, 2/18 it began to increase little, and overflowed the pantiliner. It really wasn't enough to fill a pad though when I wore one, I just changed my pantiliner a little more often. Today though it increased to period like flow. I had light cramps too. I am just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience, and had their 1st period so early, and before all spottig has stopped. I am breastfeeding exclusively. I'm not really worried because I feel fine, just curious.

I bled for 3 weeks after giving birth and then had my first period at 6wks post partum

i bled for almost 8 weeks this time.  then when it finally stopped (1 week only) it started again, but just like a period.  i am not bleeding right now.  my baby was born on dec. 4th/06.  my cycle has always been messed up. i too am breastfeeding exclusively.

I had my baby on 9/24/06 and had my first pp period on 01/17/07.  I believe that's 16 weeks.  I was breastfeeding exclusively too.  The milk is begining to dry up and I think that's mainly due to that.
