food allergy or cold?

hi everyone, one of my twins is sick, runny nose (clear) sneezing and coughing, the other is fine, they are 6 months old, on feb 6th, anyway. I have been feeding them new foods, something new every 7-10 days,. Yesterday I started ayla on multigrain oatmeal with fruit, it is for babies under 6 months, and she has already had the rice cereal, oatmeal and fruit, could this be an allergy? or are allergies to food more Gastro, thanks for any input

I always think of food allergies as being manifested more often by rashiness or gi symptoms, but admittedly this isn't something I know a whole lot about.
