for those who rented or bought a doppler

i want to know where did you et you doppler from and for how much, and what kind of doppler is the best? i was looking on some sites, and the price i got is around 45 dollars a month, or from 200 to 600 dollars buy! which one did you use?

I got mine on the recommendation of AndiJ, and at that time (about 16 months ago) it cost $115 to buy.  It has a digital readout and I thought it was a really good one.  I listened to the hb often from the day I got it at 12 weeks pregnant until the baby was ready to be born.  The link:

I got mine off of ebay for $115 w/ shipping its used but it works like a dream. I've had it since about 11 weeks and it has been a life saver! :)

Go with Annie's suggestion. A lot of the members have been thrilled with this doppler as per Andi's recommendation. Considering I spent more on renting mine for 4 months from Belly Beats, it's worth it to buy this doppler. Andi told is that even her OB was impressed by the quality.

I rented one from baby beat for $29/month.  I love it.  What a stress releiver.  I was able to pick up the hb most times at 8w4d.  From about 9w4d every time.

I rented my home doppler from Belly Beats - I've had it now for four months and in that time I could have just bought a brand new one - oh well - just remember that as wonderful as the dopplers are for reassurance they can cause HUGE stress if/when you can't find the heartbeat - I panicked myself because I couldn't find our baby's heartbeat and on asking the doctor was told that due to my weight, I was too early to hear it with a doppler - so be patient and try not to panic yourself if you get one - once I was able to find the heart daily it has been an amazing source of assurance

i have the same hi bebe as annie, and i think it was recommended by andi as well. ive used it since i was around 12 weeks. i had a m/c a month prior to getting preggo again, and this doppler was a huge life saver. it left me worry free. i carried it right in my purse to work everyday. i even showed it off to my ob. i dont use it as often now considering at 21weeks my lil man kicks up a storm. but at times where i dont notice movement for hours, to the doppler i go. renting one would be more costly than just purchasing one. i plan on using mine for the all the way to birth.

I got mine at dynamic doppler dot com. My sisters and I rented to own and pass it back and forth when we are pregnant. It works starting at about 9-10 weeks.

they had one that you could buy it now for 70 plus shipping from australia
it is made in hong kong - I got it directly from jumper medical
love it - i could hear heart beat at 8 weeks with twins 10  with singleton
