gastric bypass and pregnacy

I have recieved a gastric bypass 2 years ago. My doctor said it is safe to get pregnant. Are there pregnant women out there that have had the bypass surgury that have had problems?

A friend of mine had the surgery about a year and a half ago and was told to wait at least a year to get pregnant....Now are you ready for this one?????  She got pregnant about six months after the surgery with twins and miscarried them pretty early on.  She got pregnant the very next month with twins AGAIN.  She had kind of a rough pregnancy at first but carried them almost to term and has two sweet little girls now....to add to the 2 sweet little girls she's already got 4 daughters...wow, the estrogen will be abundant in that home when they get to be teenagers.....her poor husband may have to get an apartment on the other side of town or something..lol!  Pretty amazing huh?

My best friend had gastric bypass and got pregnant 2 years later. she did wonderful. The pregnancy was probably better than it would have been had she been as big as she was.
