green stools in 2 month old

My son is two months old and has been having green olive greened stools for two weeks now. They are creamy. He is acting normal he isn't acting sick he is still eating good and pooping maybe twice a day. He also is on cereal already the doctor put him on it because he has acid reflux could the cereal and formula make it green because of the iron or is green stool a  normal color for babies.  the other day for one of his stool it was yellow- gold color now it is green. Should i take him to the doctor?

Iron can make the stool greenish to even black. The longer it is in them, ex. constipation, generally the darker the color. Hope this helps.

its normal mate ! as they sart to eat more solids it will get darker and harder .good luck x x

That's all mine had was green stools, I freaked when they changed after wee began solids.  My little one has bad acid reflux too, but we didn't do cereal that little.  Are they doing meds to help control it too?  Also, mine was on Nutramigen and that immediately made for green runny stools from day 1 on that formula.  If you are worried though, call the nurse.

NO THE DOCTOR DIDN'T WANT TO PUT HIM ON MEDS THEY WANTED TO TRY CEREAL TO THICKEN THE FORMULA TO KEEP IT DOWN IT WORKS. HE DOESN'T SPIT UP AT ALL. HE IS ON ALIEN TUM FORMULA BECAUSE HE HAS FOOD ALLERGIES. I WAS FREAK EN I'M A FIRST TIME MOM SO EVERY THING MAKES ME NERVOUS!   I CALLED THE DOCTOR BUT HE HASN'T CALLED ME BACK YET.
