growing up

well my little myleigh kicked the top open to the swing and tried to sit forward, this morning, so needless to say, we put it all away.. I am a over bearing paranoid mom, so I was right there when she attempted this, so of course nothing happened, just kind of sad.. they are growing so fast... and this is it, after everything that happened with me, I cannot have any more,. well i could attempt it, but not so sure I would live thru it., anyway............... Its  my own fault, I push my children to move forward,. encourage them to drink from a cup, not jump to their every cry so they can learn to settle themselves down, and now that they are moving forward I want time to stop... does anyone else feel this way

I totally feel the same about my son. I had a very difficult pregnancy and he may very well be my only child. While I love watching him grow and learn and do new things (& encourage it), sometimes I just want to pause time! I try to just enjoy every single second and not get too sad about it.... but I know how you feel. *sigh*

OH MOST DEFINITELY Luci!!!! =*(
It's a bitter-sweet sensation.... I LOVE to see my little girl be able to do things that amaze the heck out of me... like pull herself up to standing position, or walk, or say stuff or do cutsie things like wink.... but at the same time, sometimes I see her little face when she's sleeping, or when I am changing her diaper... and I can hardly see that little newborn baby, that came to illuminate my ENTIRE life and was (IS!) the reason why I am ALIVE.
Sometimes I wish she would stay 'my little baby' girl forever, but then I think: how much AMAZING stuff is yet to come??? to see her grow and meet all her milestones and dreams.... and to see her smile.... and to see her pronounce her first word.. take her first step without assistance... tell me 'I love you' for the first time....

OMG .... I am all emotional now.... =*)

Oh of course.  For me the first 3 months went by kinda slow, but since then, it seems to be going by so fast.  My lil'jakey'pooh is looking more like a little toddler everyday.  I can't wait to see what he grows into and to have a conversation with him, but at the same time, I'm not ready to leave these days behind.

For me, I cannot believe my first baby is going on 19 and going to be a mommy herself :o( And Andrew, lastnight we were talking and he said something about "When I'm 14 years old in 3 years", I just about cried! And Brayden.. well he is such a curious little stinker just like his daddy! It's so cute watching him get into what anyone else around him is doing so much that he gets this trance like look on his little chubby face and you sometimes have to snap your fingers in front of him to bring him back...lol Before I know it all my babies will be adults! :*o(
