had an u/s on monday but no sack was spotted

I was wondering if by chance any one has had this happen. I found out last friday that i am pregnant had to go in for an ultrasound on monday because of some brownish spotting the doctors thought i was 6 weeks but in the u/s they did not see any sack or baby, they made me get my hcg levels check then and i went back on wed to do it again with the levels and i have yet to hear from the doctors does that mean that everything is fine and i am just earlier then what we all thought i was????????? please help im  going crazy not knowing what is going on with the baby.

well i had it happen with my first pregnancy and it was to early to see anything, because usually the brownish bleeding is implantation bleeding and the sac hasnt yet formed, i got another ultrasound 2weeks later and there was a sac with a tiny little heart beat so maybe your only about 3 or 4 weeks not 6, but in saying that with my last pregnancy the same thing happened and a week later i miscarried, so good luck to u, fingers crossed that its just to early to see a sac yet xo

thank you very much. I called the doctors today about my hcg levels and the have doubled so they think everything is ok now. and i am sorry to hear about your loss.

If you're 6 weeks (or should be) there should be something in your uterus. In a week or two I would get another ultrasound just to make sure it's not ectopic. Best of luck to you. :)

well bad new i had to have the baby removed on sunday morning it was in my tubes
