hcg level

i had a hcg level of 27 at the beginning of my 4th week...  then the next day i had some bleeding...  i think i miscarried... has anyone out there had similiar experiences??

Yes - a low HCG coupled with bleeding CAN mean miscarriage, but it doesn't have to.  If I were you, I'd ask the doctor for a few requisitions for HCG tests - get one done every few days and see if they are trending up or down.  That should give you your answer.  Good luck.

thanks!  i forgot to mention that i am going back on tuesday and thursday for more blood tests...  thank you for your advise!

Thanks for the support, unfortunately I definately had a miscarriage -- my hcg level last tuesday was <2.  The dr said everything would be ok though, since I already have a beautiful little girl.  He said we could start trying again in a month.  Keep your fingers crossed!
