they said because im under 5 weeks nothing will show up on a scan, so they said they cannot rule out out eptopic or a miss carrage. my period was due on the 10th feb i came on for 15 fays but very light, thats why they thought i'd misscarrage..but now they don't know why my hcg levels are going up
Hi Vicki,
I know this is probably really hard to hear, but I went through a similar thing last summerSummers eve anti-itch. Hcg rose slowly, then started to drop, then rose again as I was miscarrying. At this point, I knew I was miscarrying, and thought perhaps I had conceived again. It turned out it was just mother natureNature-throid Natures tears playing games.
Having said that, just hcg alone isn't much to go on. As hard as it is, you may have to wait until the time is right for an u/s.
I am certain there are plenty of stories from this board alone that can give you some hope .
Until then, take care of yourself, and prepare for what may be, but never, never give up hope, ok?
Hello,
you might want to ask them about a molar pregnancy, it can cause an up and down in HCG, you may also have a baby in there, bad news is if that is what it is the baby will have to be removed before it causes massive cancer. My best friend had this she made it to 13 weeks, and the baby died in utero because it was ate up.
