hcg levels

I went to the dr.on tuesday I was about 5 weeks and 5 days prego I just got my hcg levels they were already 18,126 do you think that could mean multipules or maybe i'm just farther along than he thinks but that seams high! he did see something on the ultrasound that he thought was the baby but then he saw the heart beating on the baby in a totally different area... I don't know what he saw but I guess well see in 5 days??

That does sound high.  I've never had my levels checked for any pregnancy but I've read other people's levels and you're are higher then theirs.  I've had twins 22 months ago, but like I said, I never had my levels checked, I just had an ultrasound don't because I was so sick.  I'm 5 weeks and 6 days pregnant currently and I've been feelingthe same thing as my twin pregnancy...my appointemnt isn't until July 8th...So I'll find out more then...

I know you're almost 6 weeks, and this is what the 6th week range is....

6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml

So it could be two!!  :)  The highest is multipes... :)

that is scary but exciting I kind of hope so but then again maybe not I'll just have to wait another 5 days to see what else they find I hope it is two and he didn't find a problem when he found what he thought was the baby i would much rather it be another baby!
