hcg numbers confused please help asap

I am 19yrs old and i had my bchg level tested on tuesday dec 11 it said it was 45 i conceived on the 4th and i started bleeding on the 7th it is now the 17th and i am still bleeding i had my bchg level tested again on thursday dec 13 and it didn't double but it went up can someone please tell me if i am still pregnant or if i miscarried or if its an ecoptic pregnancy

It sounds exactly like my situation.  In order to get a real answer you need to wait until you are 7 weeks (right after the new year) and get an ultrasound.  I had the bleeding/spotting, and also had hcg that did not double, but at 7 weeks we did see the heartbeat and now have a beautiful, healthy, 3month old little boy.  My hcg only went up 20% and my doctor told me to expect a miscarriage.  She said she would not do any more blood work because if it didnt double the first time it probably wouldnt double and it would just worry me.  The way I see it after my experience is as long as it is rising, there is reason to have hope.  Obviously it worked out for me and I hope for the same for you!
