heart beat but no baby

im 1 month pregnant with a heart beat of my baby but i went to the doctor, took a x-ray and a cat scan, but theirs no baby they cant seem to find the baby in my stomach. whats going on is that a sign of miscarriage, twins or what. can you please tell me know cause i am really scared and nervous..

I am not sure why you are having X-ray and CT scan if you are pregnant. Two simple blood HCG estimations, a week apart will tell you if HCG levels are rising and if you are pregnant or not. Also you can have a transvaginal ultrasound. At 4 weeks you cannot hear fetal heart sound, which will come by 8-9 weeks (2 months).
Also at this stage it is best to get HCG levels in blood, wait for 2 weeks before going for an ultrasound. X-rays should be avoided in pregnancy, and CT scans done only if need be.
