my doctor just did a endoscopy and found that i have acid reflux coming into my esophugus. she said its been there for along time. i have a two year old daughter. i never ever feel like i have heart burn at all. she gave me prilosec otc for it . i am taking it like every other day. she said to take it for three months and i should be fine after that. anyway, my question is that i am tryng to get pregnant. is it safe? should i stop the medication? should i continue it and will it be bad for pregnancy? i might take clomid to get pregnant. will it interact? any advice will help. thank you.

I took Nexium with my last pregnancy.  Nexium is the prescrition strenth of Prilosec OTC.  My Doctor prescribed it to me.  My DD is now 7 months old with no problems.  I don't know why it wouldn't be safe to take.  I would ask your Doctor just to be safe.
