The depo will eventually go out of your system. My doctor told me that depending on how long you were on the shot, that would be how long it would take to get out of your system. Example: if you are taking depo for a year, it will be a year before you would be able to conceive because the depo will still be in your system. So if you were on it for 3 years it is going to take quite awhile for it to get completely out of your system.
