I just found out I'm pregnant after my firstFirst progesterone mc10 First progesterone mc5 First-progesterone vgs 200 First-progesterone vgs 400 cycle on clomid (50mg). My blood at 4wks after LMP indicated my HCG was 500 and my progesterone 86. I miscarried back in September and my progesterone was only 15. Does clomid increase the progesterone this much? Does a high progesterone level indicate the possibility of multiple births? My doctor couldn't really explain why the progesterone was so high. What are reasons for high progesterone this early in pregnancy?
I have Endometriosis and have been on Clomid for 4 cycles. FirstFirst progesterone mc10 First progesterone mc5 First-progesterone vgs 200 First-progesterone vgs 400 50 mg, second 100 mg, 3rd & 4th 150 mg. I had an ultrasound on day 13 and several large follicles were found. My Day 21 Progesterone came back at 120ng/ml. I went to my doctor the same day I started my period. My doctor asked me if I was sure I wasn't pregnant, which I was and still am, now on day 12 of next cycle. Is it possible to have such a high progesterone level and to not have gotten pregnant? I asked my Dr if I she thought I had been pregnant and all she told me was the statistics of early miscarriage. Am I to assume that I had a miscarriage? What is the likelihood that it was twins? I'm going to see a Reproductive Endocrinologist Wednesday. Please help!
