When is a good time to start packing the hospital bag? when did everyone else pack theirs? what do you put in it?

congrats !!!! what an exiting time for you I was told to make sure my bag was packed two weeks before your due date. just put toiletries towel sanitary towels and clothes for baby and asscesorries for you and baby

when this question was asked before a few good suggestions that I read was, a pillow, snacks, slipper socks, night gowns, magazines/books. I haven't had to pack a bag yet since I'm only going on my 8th week but I will probably have it ready 3 weeks before my due date. I hope you have an easy (well as easy as it can be) labor.

hi. Well i have some of my things set out to be put in a bag, but not completely packed yet.  So far i have a night gown, another t-shirt & shorts, undies, and that's it. When i go i'll make sure to put my toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, things of that nature, and i'm not sure what i'm wearing home yet....my b/f hasn't packed any of his stuff yet, lol...
i pretty much have the babys clothes washed and packed, her diapers, paceys, wipes, blanket, stuff of that nature..i'm 38.2 wks. So ready! But i'm going to be scheduled next wk. so unless i go before then i have time! :) How far along are u?

I am in my 30th week. but he is measuring 2 weeks ahead, so I kind of expect him a few weeks early. I just want to be ready.

I'm only 9 weeks. I have 4 healthy girls.  I had the same question with my first.  And the first thing my mom told me was pack a nice good undergarment. It should fit ferm around your abdominal area. Also a support bra.  remember it will be ok to still wear your maternity clothes leaving the hospital.  Your body will still be swollen. Pack your own shampoo,soap and towels.  Baby won't need much.  Just outfit to come home in, socks, hat.  If your lucky the hospital will give you formula and pampers.  What ever they open for your baby they usually give to you to home with..
