how far im i so confused

hello everyone i need a bit help i had my lmp on 5th june and i did a clear blue test on the 6th july it came back pregnant 1-2 weeks but when i put one in at the doctors the same day it came back negative so i did another one on 9th that came back positive i have worked my dates out to being 7 weeks today but i had a scan yesterday and the woman said that i was 5-6 weeks pregnant can anyone help me im so confused at the minute over it as i seen the fetus heart beat please help

Counting from the first day of your last period, which is of course the usual way doctors count, you're 7 weeks today.  If the person doing the ultrasound (was it a doctor?) said you are 5-6 weeks pregnant, possibly you ovulated late in your cycle, or maybe she was telling you a date based on presumed conception, rather than using the medical method of dating pregnancy.  If this was a doctor talking to you, it would surprise me that she wouldn't count the medical way.

My midwife and doctor both said the same but the scan women said I was 5-6 weeks but my period was due 3rd July which made me 6 weeks 6 days as my cycle is 28 but I don't understand I thought the heart starts beating at 6 weeks and I seen it beat
