okay heres the deal. I am 20w1d right now but i consider my self to be 5 months pregnant! Right?? we'll on some baby websites im 20 weeks but they say im in week 21. Weired huh. Then in my baby book it says im in month 5 and my month 6 starts on week 21. So then when do i actually consider myself six months. My doc doesnt go by months but im going to ask next week at my big apt. So how do ya'll count the months. My husband and i have been saying im 5 months since my 17th. But on this other website it said i was 4.6 months pegnant which means im about to start my 5 month when i thought i was about to start my 6 month. My due date is Sept 20. So what do u think??
its confusing but this is how i understand it. in weeks 1-4 you are in your first month. but you dont actually count yourself to be one month untill that 4th week ends. then from 5-9 you are IN your second month, but again you wont be 2 months till the 9th week. does this make sense? its like i am 7 weeks pregnant now, but i am in my 8th week. i went by months with my son, its just a p.i.t.a so ill go by weeks now lol
Yeah, I prefer the weeks, too. Some websites say I'm in my 6th month at 25 weeks and some say 7th. I just go by weeks. Pregnancy is actually 10 months...we all know that but it still sucks! I would rather say I'm in my 6th month and the last month is month 9, than to say I'm in my 7th month and my last month is month 10! If you are 20 weeks, I would say you are just starting your 5th month. Then at 24 weeks you're just starting your 6th month, 28 weeks starting 7th, etc, etc...
you have to complete 4 weeks to make a month right? at one week pg you cant say you are one month(that is why you can say you are in your first month) you have to complete 4 to get to one month. then at 5 weeks you are 4.1. at 7 you are 4.3. does this make sense? its crazy.
oohhh, okay!! Sorry!! I get it. That is confusing! Im just going to go by months and not try to explain it anymore to my friends and fam. There like you 20 weeks so your blah blah months and im like yeah i think! But thanks ladies!
I'm 23 weeks which is the first week of the 6th month. So I say I'm in the 6th month or I'm 5.5 months. Since really the 6th month is not complete....so I'm not 6 whole months. 20 weeks you are in your 5th month.
