my daughter is 4 weeks old and is eating 4oz every 3 hours. but at around 2 hours she starts fussing and wants to eat. how much should i be feeding her. i am scared to overfeed her. she is eating formula.
I agree to an extent but be careful nort to overfeed her. Babies at that age are extremely 'sucky' and will often look for food as a comfort reflex, or when doing a poo nopt due to actuall hunger. If she will take it a pacifier will be extremely useful in these cases. I would follow (with some flexiblity) what the formula tin says as I've read that a majority of formula fed babies are overfed in the first few weeks.
