If all tissue has cleared the uterus (to check this, the best way is to have a beta hCG test done by the doctor), it is quite possible to ovulate a couple of weeks after a miscarriage, and if you are having unprotected sex that soon, you could get pregnant.  Doctors often recommend waiting until you have a normal period, in order to be sure everything is back to normal uterus-wise, before trying again.  Lots of ladies on this site have unexpectedly gotten pregnant before a period even came.
