I has my first vaginal ultrasound done yesterday they saw the yok sac and the baby which was like a little grain of rice they said, but no heartbeat was visible or heard. I go back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound to check for the heartbeat again. Im so scared it wont be there. The doctor kind of left me with an unsetteling feeling. This would be my first child and im very excited, but very scared i will loose it. All the stuff ive read online say u can see the heartbeat at 5-6 weeks. But another thing said if you do it a few days before your exactly 6 weeks the heart beat may not show up. Im praying and hoping the ultrasound is ok, my hcg levels and pelvic exam all went ok. I have not had any bleeding except very lightly when i wiped just after i had my pelvic exam. I have nauseas and morning sickness, tender breast and other signs of being pregnant. I am obese and i read that may be a cause of a miscarriage and that does scare me to. Im just very impatiently waiting for my next ultrasound hoping it will be good news. i thought maybe it was just to early for a heartbeat but all these things i read say the heartbeat should be there between 5-6 weeks.
