implantation bleeding? Now a week late and negative test!

Hi, AF was supposed to arrive on 11/1/09 but on the 8th i had very light bleeding lasting 2 days (no need to wear a towel). Now a week later normal AF has failed to arrive and pregnancy test are BFN!  We are ttc but now i don't know whether that was my AF or if my body is just going a bit ga ga! Any ideas?

  Its possible that the light bleeding you had on the 8th was simply an odd, very light (and late) period.

You should test again in a few days to a week.  If it is negative, you may either want to simply wait until your next period would be due and test again, or see your doctor if you are not comfortable waiting, to get a blood test.

Hi, thanks for reply. The bleeding on the 8th was light and early not ligth and late. Does this make a difference? Or still wait another week to test again?

I agree with Peekwahos recommendations.  Implantation bleeding will typically occur before your regular period is due.

Sorry--at first glance I read it as 11/1.  I see now you mean Jan 11.  Didn't have my coffee!

I would still test again in a few days to a week.  Your period may have just come a bit early.  Or it could have been some early pregnancy spotting.

Just test again if you are still worried, in a few more days to a week.  If you still believe you might be pregnant at that point, see your doctor if you aren't comfortable waiting until your next period should arrive.
