implantation bleeding?

I'm not due for my period till the 7th but today when I woke up (2nd) I had really light spotting when I wiped. I went to the bathroom three times after that and no spotting on my pad just when I wipe. I was ovulation on the 22nd of Dec that was the last time my bf and I had sex. Not sure if this is normal before a period because I normally just get my period to come on the day it's suppose to so this spotting 6days before my period is odd to me. Also not expecting any period like symptons. Any help would be wondeful.
