My friend bought one for her DD and loved it.  I have never used one, but she has raved on and on about it.

i have two boppy's and the only thing i used them for was to put behind her when she sits up on her own in case she falls.  i only nursed for three weeks though and mostly pumped so others might feel differently but that was my experience.  i tried to find them at yard sales but never could they go like hotcakes.  so now i have two to put on mine..haha.

I love the boppy I have.  I use it for many things, nursing, putting DD on it for tummy time under her shoulders, I put it under my DD when she wants to lay down but she's just eaten so she's not laying flat.  I think it's worth the money.  I used to nurse without it and my shoulder was killing me so that solved the problem.

I have to say that after the "fisher price bouncer" (spelling) this was the best item we got at our baby shower! I am working from home and when I breast feed her she lays on it and I have two free hands  to work on the computer. I use it 100% all the time and my baby girl is only 3 1/2 weeks.

Definitly a good investment.  I have two as well.  I live in a 2-storey, so it is easier than carting it up and down the stairs.  I have one that you blow up...it is not as good but it still does the trick.  Good Luck!

Definately get the boppy and take it to the hospital. It makes breastfeeding the first few weeks sooo much easier. After the baby puts on a little weight and you get used to holding her/him I didn't use it anymore. Now I use it for tummy time also, or just to set her in it for pictures and to sit up.

Definitely!  I have had 5 children, all nursed, and never got one until my 5th.  Don't know how I did it without one!  I use it for everything from nursing more comfortably to laying the baby on it to play, etc.  I honestly will probably use it later in life when there are no more babies;)

I had 3 while nursing my son. One in the nursery, one in the car, one in the livingroom. They were great. But I found they didn't wear well and had to stack them towards the end of my nursing days (I weaned at 10 months). I'm due again in June too and when I pulled out my old boppy's they were very flat and I won't be able to use them for this baby. There is a new pillow out there called "my breast friend". It's supposed to offer better support and last longer. My sisterinlaw uses it now and loves it. I plan to get one for this next baby.

LOVE MY BOPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't imagine having to nurse without it. I keep one at home and one in my car for nursing on the go. Definitely worth every penny.

If you're nursing I would think about getting "My Breast Friend" over the Boppy.
You can hook it around yourself and it's a little more secure for the baby.
That's just my personal preference.

I loved my boppy, I used it in the hospital to sit on (and at home) and to feed my DD, it was so much easier that plopping pillows!
It was also great to sit her on it and then she loved to play with it when she was bigger.
Definitly one of the best buy!

I was a nanny to a 2 month old baby who was nursed. His mom used the boppy when she nursed him. The baby hated to take a bottle when I would try to feed them. I ended up putting him on the boppy in my lap for bottle feeding as well. It was comforting to him and I found it was easier to feed him with it! I plan to by one for my baby!

I am an ECE  I have come to love the boppy pillow.  You don't have to just use it for breast feeding.  It can be used to support the baby during bottle feedings, as well as just having the baby at a slight angle after feeding.  This helps with acid reflux.  It also strengthens the babies muscles and supports the baby when learning how to sit up.  Also good for tummy time.  All this with supervision to provent suffucation.  Many other uses, but these are my discoveries with the love of a boppy pillow.  I made it mandatory for all the infant babies in care to have their own.

Please consider it for you joy!
