zoloft is the most studied anti depressant to take while pregnant. It is a category B drug. I am not sure about that high of dose though. I am on only 20mg of Prozac...and that is just enough to take the edge off of my anxiety. I would ask the dr. about it and what he thinks. How long have you been takin it?

Zoloft is a Class C drug which means it has been shown to damage animal fetuses but no adequate studies have been performed on the human fetus.  However, in cases where the benefits of taking medication during pregnancy clearly outweigh the risks, it is often recommended that one continue taking them.

I would suggest talking to a perinatal physchiatrist - they specialise in this area and will be able to make recommendations for your specific case.  If you are still feeling anxious, switching to another medication or modifying your dosage of Zoloft may be benefical.

BTW:  whatever you do, do NOT stop taking Zoloft abruptly.
