hi all, my name is Isabelle.
I need some help here.
1 months ago, i checked for the first time and i have a positive with faint second line.
10 days after, I went to check and it was suddenly negative.
Doctor said maybe couple days later i will get my period soon.
But i haven't got my period until today.
Am I pregant??
I'm stressed out thinking about negative.
I'm so happy to know I'm positive and it suddenly turns negative :(
Please.. I need answers..
Menstrual cycles can delay by week or 10 days without any apparent cause. However, if you have not got your periods yet, repeat the pregnancy test using an ultrasensitive testing kit. If this is negative, then you can take blood HCG test.
If this too is negative then other causes of delayed or missed periods will have to be looked at such as ectopics (can give negative urine/HCG tests), stress whether emotional or physical, hypothyroidism, polycystic disease of the ovary, pituitary tumors secreting prolactin, anemia and poor diet, hormonal imbalance, unexplained or sudden weight gain or weight loss. You will need to consult a gynecologist for this. Take care!
