i am 17 weeks pg i started to leak amniotic fluid about 1 1/2 weeks  ago a went to the er they told me i was going to miscarrie but when my ob sent me to a high risk ob they did an o.s and she is perfict heart beet every thing but i have a small breech an am slowly losing a.f. that he said wont close by its self and he also said that there is no medical way of closing it either is that true? i have another appt. on the 10th of this month but i just wanted to know if anyone has had this happen and had a to terrm or close pg and the baby was ok i just cant take the back and forth anymore its killing me they tell me she is ok and then she isnt i just need something possotive to help me stay in high spirits for my 2 year old!!!

I've read on here that they can put saline (I think it was saline) in the sac to provide more fluid, but I don't know if that's the case with you. I wish you the best of luck!!! Keep us updated on how you're doing.

thanks and ill ask my hr ob about the saline thing hope so. i haven't really been leaking enough to notice it since last tuesday and last wed. my ob said there was enough for her to keep aproving her lungs and he said that i have beaten the odds already because most women with my problem the baby doesnt make it 48 hours and its been almost two weeks so we're hoping but thanks again...
