someone please help, my period is 3 days late. i have never had a late period but yet have had all the symtoms (symptoms) i would have if i was having my period, such as cramping. im not sure as to what i should do. i have never had unprotected sex, always use a condom and i havent had sex in over a month. someone please help. i dont know if i am worring over nothing or if there is really a reason to be worried. any advice that could be given would be greatly appreciated..
Are you under any stress? Sometimes stress can delay your period. Also, are you underweight or exercising a lot, this too can cause your period to be late, or stop altogether. Have you had sex since your last period? If you always use condoms, I think it is unlikely that you are pregnant. You could buy a hpt just to put your mind at ease though. How old are you? Young people may have irregular cycles and perimenopausal women often do also. So many things could be the cause, I think give it a couple more days. Your period will probaby show up.
Most pregnancy tests say they can dectect pregnancy as early as 1 day after a missed period. Some even claim to be able to detect pregnancy 4 or 5 days before your period is due. Two of the brands I know that are "early tests" are "First Response" and "Answer". Hope you are able to know for sure soon. Wondering if you are pregnant can be scary, especially if you were not trying.
im 22 years old, i havent had sex since before i had my period last month. i think it was a week before i had my period last month. havent been under any more stress then i usually am. would it be to early to take a hpt since its only been 3 days?
It actually sounds like you are a little stressed out about possibly being pg. I agree with the other post if you are having protected sex you are probably not pg so I would not worry about that. Sometimes a period is just late for no reason at all. If you don't get it after a couple weeks I would talk to the doctor about other possibilities as to why it is not coming.
