lightheaded?

by mrs.austin, Jan 21, 2007 12:00AM
Hello all,

I am currently in my tww..ahh! AF is due next saturday (jan 27th). I have been feeling very light-headed lately and actually fell down once because of it. I even had a visual migraine last week. Has anyone experienced this before...and turned up pregnant? All this dizziness would be worth it then!

Thanks,

Kristin

I am currently 27 weeks pregnant, got pregnant back in July 06.  Knew it was a possibility but wasn't sure.  Anyways I woke up one morning and was so dizzy that I felt drunk, I could not walk in a straight line (had to lean on a wall to walk), my head was spinning so fast.  All that lasted for about 4 hours after I woke up till it finally subsided.  My husband was talking to someone he knew and told him i was dizzy, and the guy laughed and said the last time his wife was dizzy like that she ended up being pregnant. lol  Well, my last period was July 12th, shouldn't have gotten a positive on a test till about Aug. 12th (four weeks).  But it showed up positive with a Digital clear blue and easy on Aug 3rd (the day I felt so dizzy).  I at first took a First response and it was so light I thought it was neg, but then took a cheapy and it was very positive that's when I took a digital and get a PREGNANT.      I have had two mc's one in Aug 05 and one in Feb 06, and got pregnant with this little one in July due Apirl 18th.  I had never had dizziness with either of the MCs (both ended around 6wks, but the dizziness was around 3 wks).  So it was a good sign of a strong pregnancy that's what my OB told me anyways, and it seems to have worked out wonderfully this time. Good luck.

When I first got pregnant... (I was bein' a REAL DITZ), I noticed af hadn't showed up that month, but figgered she was just changing her arrival time (AGAIN) as she often did with me... whenever I got dizzy, I chalked it up to the heat (over 100 outside at the time and working in a nursing home where most people are cold all the time, plus giving 'em hot showers), so I thought I was just too hot and/or dehydrated, but every once in a while I would be just walking down one of the halls, and then, BAM!!! I'm leaning up against a wall to keep from falling over... I almost got sent home for it by one of my nurses a couple of times... :-|
