low heartbeat at 5 weeks and 6 days

I had in ultrasound yesterday.. baby measured about 5 weeks and 6 days.. we found a heartbeat but the rate was only 115.. anyone else have a low heart rate and then have a normal pregnancy??  Is this normal??  Should i worry??  Any advise or stories are wonderful.

that heart beat sounds good. it just started beating. anything over 100 i believe is good. do not worry, and enjoy this baby.the heart beat should go up in the next couple of weeks.

I agree with the above post. If it were under 90 at this early stage, that would be considered low. 115 is just fine. Congratulations.

My first u/s at 7w5d was 117 and everything is going just fine for me.  Congratulations sounds to me like your going to be a mommy!!!!

Oh my...  I had an ultrasound yesterday, I am 5 weeks, 6 days also.  The heartbeat was 118 my doctor said, and I quote, GREAT!  Relax, anything 90-110 is normal for this gestation period.  We are actually a little ahead!!

Thank you everyone for responding so fast.. i feel much better.  I was told that was a low heart rate but that was by the ultrasound tech and the doctor today told me that was fine... she likes it a bit higher but she just wants to keep a close eye on it.. we go in for another ultrasound on Monday.. the 7th of march.  And another on the 22nd of march.  Well.. just thank you again!  Hugs for all!

That is NOT a low heartbeat. I hope your doc didnt tell you that!

I agree that the hb is fine.  My understanding is that under 90 is of concern, but even early like you are under 90 often works out.  Good luck!

Relax, when I was 12 weeks pregnant the doctor couldn't find the heartbeat at all and had to do a ultra sound.  Everything was fine, I was just a little shook up.  Your babies heartbeat sounds completely normal.

i went through a TVS and they found the fetus to be 5 weeks 3 days old....but the heart beat was low 62/min. The doctor has advised me to take Susten 200 even though i have no history of miscarriages. This is my first pregnancy. Please advise.
