i'm at 28 weeks with ahealthy baby after being on progesterone suppositories until my 12th week, My levels were at 14.5 at 5 weeks

My levels were at 12 at 5 weeks, then I started supplementation, 100mg, only went up to 14, increased to 200mg and over the next 3 weeks went up to 20, then I had a healthy u/s at 8w1d, and on 8w3d my progesterone fell to 14.  Still no bleeding, but I have had mild cramping/discomfort all along.

Did your levels ever rise then fall on the progesterone therapy?

To: all with low progesterone
I had the experience of having a very low progesterone level after a positive HCG, doubling normally. From 4-10 weeks the level was off the chart low, below 10, I was warned by by doc "dont get your hopes up". Suppositories, IM oil did not raise the numbers, but they probably helped. According to the net, I was doomed to miscarry this "abnormal pregnancy" . Well, I did not miscarry, that beautiful baby is now 2, healthy and gorgeous. The expert opinion on the net was wrong. I am convinced that the supplements helped, and although my number did not increase to above 10 until 10 weeks when the placenta kicked in, this baby survived and I love her dearly. I hope this gives hope to some people, don't despair! I would also restrict activities for a while, not total bed rest but take it easy if levels are low.
