I don't know whaty it is, but I had problems after my son, I went in for something similar, but it was almost hanging out. I had some scar tissue growing that needed to be repaired. My Dr. also warned me that the opening was much larger now and you could actaully see the remnants of my hymen. I would call your Dr. to let them know what you are seeing though, you can never be to sure or careful. Good luck, I'm sure it's okay.
Hi, I went for an internal check-up last year and the dr also felt a lump, but said not to worry. It was a Bartholin gland (or something called like that) and it would go away by itself. When I got pregnant last year, the gland got infected. It was just inside the vagina and you could feel it with your fingers. Well, it got infected and burst open. Everthing is back to normal now. But I think you must check it out.
I would call you Dr and see if maybe you can come in a little early for your 6 week check up they usually let you. Mine let me come in at 4 weeks. I think it would be best to get this checked by a Dr.
after childbirth and pushing...things..well, drop! could be a cystocle, rectocele. could also be your basic "rugae" which is normal but decends after childbirth. sounds normal but have your dr. take a look at your next "well" appointment.
I have 3 children and after my 2nd I got a few cysts and after my 3rd a few more.
I cant remember what they are called but I do know that they are caused from pushing and that they are not harmful at all.
It has been 3 1/2yrs. since my last birth and I have seen many dr's and gyn. and none of them have even suggested to remove them thats how common they are.
With that said it is always a good thing to get things like that checked out.
