Hi, i am planning pregnancy with my husband. we had intercourse the previous night. I masturbated the next day. will this affect the chance of getting pregnant. I read somewhere that the sperm will meet the egg after one or two days it enter the tube. After masturbation I am having  lot of white discharge ... can some one please clarify my doubt.

I don't think masturbation will hurt your chance of conceiving.  I've actually heard that orgasms can help aid in moving the sperm toward your cervex.

I will also add that even though after intercourse you may fear that because the semen may leak out, that by that point the sperm have started their journey already! Masturbation immediately following sex can be beneficial if you were not able to achieve orgasm when your partner did. Dh and I saw a really interesting documentary a few years back actually showing all of the mechanics of sex and the role orgasm plays in helping the sperm to travel. But don't panic if you didn't "O" with your partner. You can get pg anyway : )

And the previous post was dead on, masturbating the day after won't effect anything. What you experienced afterwards was your own orgasm and had nothing to do with the semen from your partner.

Hello, this is my first time on here.  I would like to share that in my anatomy class we learned that orgasm will help the chances of pregnancy b/c it moves the female parts to "dip down" into the sperm.
On other news I am two 1/2 wks late on my period and have never missed a day before.  I have taken 3 hpt but all said neg. Is there any hope for me?  How soon do you start "feeling pregnant"

My DH and I saw a documentary on the "dipping down" during female orgasm.  What a fabulous little feature in the aide of reproduction.
