Hi,
I had an endometrial ablation in September 2007, its all gone well and I had my period about 4 weeks ago which was very very light and only lasted 4 days. My period stopped on 30 Nov.  Its nearing 5 weeks now and I still haven't had my period since the last one stopped. It should have arrived around the 20 Dec.   I have sore breasts and cramping which has been going on for 2 weeks now.

I'm worried why it hasn't come yet.  Is this normal? could I not get any more periods?  I hope I'm not pregnant.

The whole purpose of an endometrial ablation is to try to get rid of your periods.  Often women will still continue to spot or bleed, but many stop menstruating altogether.

Are you using birth control of any type?  Have you had your tubes tied?  Did they explain to you that it was very important to never become pregnant again?
