menstrual type cramps 19 weeks

I know at this time in pregnancy there is ligament pain and some stretchy cramping, I have had that.  Last night throughout the night, I had menstrual type cramping.  I always thought that any type of menstrual pain during pregnancy was bad.  It was by no means very painful...it was quite dull.  I do not have it today.  Does anybody have any experience with menstrual cramps at this stage of pregnancy?

Also, a very strange feeling today I don't remember with my first.  The baby has been very active today and I feel like it is balling up in certain parts of my uterus.  I will touch where it is and it immediatley shoots an almost "funny bone" type of feeling to me and if feels like I am moving the baby with my touch.  My uterus is then kinda sore for a second after this.  Very weird...again not painful just different.

I had lots of mentrual-like cramping with my 2nd dd too. My OBGYN kept insisting that it was normal.
