my dd was allergic to her formula when she was an infant. she had exczema (eczema) which brought them to the decision she was allergic. she also was cranky on and off. she was put on prosobee soy milk and she was much better after that.
I am lactose intolerant and the symptoms range can be sharp pains in stomach, feeling of being too full, and gas. Never have thrown un, but that might be a baby thing.
It could be acid reflux. I would ask your doctor about that. They have drops to give to babies to help relieve the problem.
My son was, and had major temper tantrums. which were related to the gas and achey (achy) stomach. WE switched to lactose free and he was fine 2 days later, like a new kid. He spit up a LOT, but I just thought he had a little acid reflux like his dad. the temper tantrums were horrible. they stopped just like that. Now of course he throws TT because he doesn't get what he wants, but before it was just non stop crying and rolling around.
I'm going straight to soy formula with my new baby due in june. I have spoken with numerous nutritionalists and they don't believe children need cows milk at all their whole lives. Regular formula is created with whey from cows milk so you always get the bacteria and hormones from the cow in your formula. Soy is easy to digest and doesn't contain any toxins.
both of my sons had to be put on soy. They both projectile vomited horribly and would curl up in a ball and cry all the time because of colic. When they changed to the soy they were different babies!
Thanks for your input Cody has never thrown up and he is very content baby thats what was throwing me
He has sneezed since birth a few times each day i know at first they said it was getting the mucus out but he is 2 and half months old then was watery stools at about 6 weeks and now they are fine they lasted about 4 weeks gas sometimes when he feeds but not always Its like he has a allergy but only some times? weird !! but never a rash, hives, throwing up, cranky which are mostly signs of intolerance or allergy He is such a good baby thats what throws me I figured if he was in distress he would cry Thanks to all for your advice

My son is almost 4 months old and he also is playing the formula game. He has been switched 3-4 times and he has pretty bad exczema (eczema). He projectile vomits a lot. The doctor said he has acid reflux, which they say is often a misdiagnosis. I think what everyone is saying with the soy is the best answer.
The only problem I remember is that he threw up all the time.....and I mean ALL the time. All over, on everything, everywhere......I can't really remember him having any other symptoms.
He stayed on soy formula until his first birthday and then we switched over to whole milk and he did just fine so I'm really not sure if it was a milk allergy or not......the soy only helped a little bit......he still spit up alot.
Okay, sorry, I was of no help to you..........LOL
Good luck
