minimal fetus growth, no heartbeat

my problem is, i have not had my periods for the past 3+ months. got checked and doctor said hormonal imbalance. i was about to begin with my medicine to get my menses whn my doc asked me to do a home pregnancy test n to my surprise it was positive though we did not even hava a proper sex as i was suffering from UTI also. i was extremly copnfused that when i'm not ovulating how can i be pregnant!!! went to my gayne he said i'm 100% preg but right now thers no heartbeat as it might be very early stage. i went again 4an ultrasound yest (after 10 days), he stil could not find a heartbeat and the fetal growth was also minimal. jus dont know what to do!! he is doing some blood tests and said this pregnancy doesnt seems ok. i'm too confused. have been trying 4baby for more than 6months now.. i wanna know if the baby's heartbeat is detected now should we go 4it? as d growth seemed minimal. i hope the baby is healthy! please help :(

Slow growth and no hb would worry me only if I knew how far along I was. I would hope in a week your dr. will re-do the u/s because this would at least make you 6 weeks for sure. Although you have been without a period worries me that you may have gotten pregnant a while ago and the pregnancy just has not progressed. The blood work will help in identifying where you are in the pregnancy. Keep us updated!

Hey thnx for your concern. My blood reports have come and the HCG level has dropped from 22000 to 9000. Doctor examined and said there is no growth and its deteriorating now. He has given me pills so that the tissue can be released with blood. Kind of abortion. Hoping for bettr luck next time....

yup... m also relieved tht atleast i can b pregnant. no problems as such. i would have always been worried if i carried fwd ths pregnancy as growth was not normal.. thnx guys!!
